Celebrate Cinema: NGO Edition - Illuminating Hope and Creativity
This Celebrate Cinema, Team Khwaab hosted a vibrant Special Day on November 4, bringing together 120 children from NGOs like Spark A Change, Salaam Baalak Trust, Salaam Bombay Foundation, Apnalaya, VIDYA Mumbai, and special kids from Jinshiksha. Our dedicated volunteers organized dance and art workshops, along with a jamming session featuring our talented music students. Two captivating installations, 'Threaded Emotions' and 'EcoFrame: Upcycled Selfie Corner,' added a meaningful touch to the event. 'Threaded Emotions' encouraged self-awareness by visually mapping emotional connections, while 'EcoFrame' highlighted the impact of mindful choices through a captivating photo booth crafted from upcycled materials. The Embrace Wall, adorned with expressions on recycled vinyl sheet, became a canvas for children to share what joy means to them, receiving beautiful replies from visitors.
In the spirit of collaboration, we invited Team Jhappi, a social enterprise selling quality NGO products online in India, to showcase their products, supporting ventures aligned with our commitment to social responsibility.
This celebration showcased Team Khwaab's dedication to sustainability, creativity, and community engagement, bringing smiles to the faces of young participants.
